Being implies sentience aka inception sentencing life towards point of death...few suggest rhetorical points to tempt many towards the end of life-sentence aka forwards.
In short...suggesting a point implies progressivism. It's from that perspective of wanting to progress forwards that one views anyone who resists as retarded (delayed; slowed).
As for Islam (submission)...that implies ones submission to another aka follow the leader aka once again progressivism.
