It's a standard triumphalist eschatology. Christians believe Jesus is Lord, there is no other eschatological option. He's the one who said you're for or against him. I'm his body but it's got nothing to do with me personally because he may use anyone else or he may wait until the forum collapses of itself; but it will be his one way or another.
