Baalism is real and has infected religions such as Judaism but is easily distinguished from Rabbinical Judaism. Modern attempts to equate baalism with Yahwism, solely because Yahweh refuses to acknowledge others calling themselves by the title baal instead of him, is complete ignorance of the politics involved, treating opposition parties as a monolith. It's like saying Christians are satanists because satanists use anointing.

As I implied, those Jews and others who misuse Biblical text to practice baalism have their sin on their own heads. The rest are innocent of that and we should not judge the innocent with the guilty.
