Buying books to confirm your own bias isn't noble, nor is it the pursuit of truth. Had you done that you'd see that said numbers are disputed, and nobody really knew how many Jews were in "Europe" either before or after WWII. In scare quotes because these numbers typically aren't well defined as pertaining to the same boundaries, nor to what anyone defines as "Europe."
What's always clear in any thorough examination is that Hitler was pretty effective at removing all Jews from territory under his control. Maybe a few left under some floorboards here and there, but that's about it.
