You're cooked because you believe in the enlightenment myth of the free market of ideas where the better ideas win on their own merit, which assumes people and societies are ultimately rational and well informed. This is in stark contradiction with everything we know about social engineering and brainwashing of the masses through government, media, education, substances and various forms of mind control techniques. They can make people buy the most ridiculous narrative and have them ready to put their life on the line for it.

I can easily disprove you by pointing out that we wouldn't be living in a world where we have extremely bad ideas underpinning our current world order if there was such a thing as self-regulating "idea capitalism". What you said is not only normietalk, it's a core boomer belief. It's not even true in the realm of consumer products where marketing (PR/propaganda) above all determines if a product is successful. I hope you reconsider this regurgitated belief now that you have heard how unreasonable it is. There was a time I probably said it too without even realizing where it came from. This is what true indoctrination looks like.

Trick question - never let your kids in public school. Teach them the Bible, logic, reason, morals debate, etc. Arm 'em up!

So basically let society burn - everyone save themselves on their own? Wouldn't you prefer a society where public education served the interest of the people in creating truly educated and morally upstanding individuals? Don't you realize you don't live alone on an island and other people's beliefs and actions affect you because that determines where society goes, and this is exactly why you should care what is being taught in public schools? So the question still stands: are you fine with them teaching kids (even if they're not yours) to be troons?

Biblical Christianity has never been proven wrong. Wokeness and leftism are dying ideologies in America, the dems are falling lower and lower. Besides, that is simply because people arent fostering a culture of logic and truth pursuit and most of all Christianity, but of emotion and desire chasing and selfism.

This is in stark contradiction with everything we know about social engineering and brainwashing of the masses through government, media, education, substances and various forms of mind control techniques. Yup, monopoly on info. And guess what, they are EXCLUDING (think, censoring) contrary viewpoints. You are literally STEEL-MANNING my case. It's not even 8 replies between us in this specific reply chain, yet your ideas are already being torn in the Marketplace.

You fail to take into account that there are evil secret elite with great power (in multiple sense of the word) & $ intentionally unfairly rigging the scales.

What you said is not only normietalk,

"Nuking the whole planet is bad" is "normietalk."

it's a core boomer belief. It's not even true in the realm of consumer products where marketing (PR/propaganda) above all determines if a product is successful.

Nope. It may influence people, that's on them if they fall for it or not. Again, your precious censorship flies in the face of personal responsibility and incentivizes laziness & dependence.

So basically let society burn

At this rate, society IS burning. BLM? tyranny abroad? Evil secret elite running a bunch of stuff in the world? cybertruck vandalism? no kingzzzz riots? lefty vandalism in general + illegal alien aggression country-wide? HA!! Keeping our kids out of PropaScamda Camps is a good thing. Private Christian schools & homeschools FTW!!

  • everyone save themselves on their own?

We have already tried your way, and it SUCKS. You might like the upcoming anti-Christ beast system, he will be VERY censorious and give his triple6 zombie slaves special privilege. his system will do everything for you!! There will be no freedoms for non-marked people - they'll be killed, actually! Your Perfect Paradise in ACTION!!

Wouldn't you prefer a society where public education served the interest of the people in creating truly educated and morally upstanding individuals?

Yes, but i think schools should have size limits. Example, there can only be 20 universities of harvard. Only 20 of Yale. And they must allow parents to scrutinize and criticize. Schools should not be above reproach.

If you wanna censor things, ban evilLotion, millions of years, big bang, and abiogenesis from the schools.

Don't you realize you don't live alone on an island and other people's beliefs and actions affect you because that determines where society goes,

Worldview has consequences. Athiests tend to totally fail to realize the consequences of theirs.

Thanks AGAIN for steel manning my position. People with positions on this issue, like you, are part of the reason KOSA exists. Why the UK and EU and CCP are how they are.

and this is exactly why you should care what is being taught in public schools?

Like gorillions of years, abiogenesis, evilLotion? AbsoLutely!!

So the question still stands: are you fine with them teaching kids to be troons?

I'm fine with the parents (or the kids) trying to convert the teachers to Christianity. Besides, people have trannism fatigue now, so expect decrease in that.

Dude, I can't keep up with the long replies so I will go short.

I'm steel-manning your position about better ideas getting on top by pointing out people are easily deceived by propaganda and disinfo which are used to promote bad ideas? Does that make sense to you?

You fail to take into account that there are evil secret elite with great power (in multiple sense of the word) & $ intentionally unfairly rigging the scales.

But wait, I thought there was a free market of ideas? Now suddenly it's not so free?

The alternatives & good ideas are not being presented to them. Effectively, alternatives are censored, regardless of IQ. That's how you are steel manning. Just because an idea is good does not magically mean it will become famous, known about by the masses. In freedom, the idea has a chance. In censorship, permanent (as long as its being censored) obscurity!

it was "free"

Free =/= invincible to all outside influence.
