I left two good clients I was working with to focus on a new role in tech. I found a small-mid company a couple months ago testing me out on contract and they want me full time.
Nice thing about these smaller companies is they can be less PC. And they have no problem hiring white guys (or brown guys like myself). The last places I worked were 80% white people, though it's only like 10 people.
I worked at a major manufacturer before, and it was like that. They were openly demanding a non-white work force and putting up posters, etc. They even push LGBT propaganda in June which is disturbing.
That was several years ago. I've been working at smaller companies since.
This has to do with them losing Amazon shipments to Amazon, USPS and FedEx. Not a true economic indicator.
