Cool, so just die already. Death is salvation, so why not expedite it? Either your submission is meaningless (because the physical world doesn’t matter) or it matters and your submission is meaningless because absolutely nothing is happening and no one is coming to save you.
You know, I’ve never understood that. Is it a sin (suicide) to refuse medical treatment so that you die more quickly for the purpose of joining Christ? That’s an active role taken in the decision. Does it count? I long for death because I have no interest in living anymore. If I actively stop taking care of my body, is that suicide, even though I’m not jumping off a bridge? Why should I want to remain here when, again, absolutely nothing is happening and no one is coming to save you?
Friend, you have the wrong idea of salvation. Ephesians 2:1-3 shows salvation as being saved from the death in Adam. In Christ is life, from the dead. The death in Adam is known as Babylon in the book of Revelation.
I like you. You're arguing a false dichotomy that I don't hold. I submit to Jesus Christ alone. I need no salvation in the carnal world. I'm already standing above it.
I'm already in Christ, friend. Medical treatment is fine for the physical body. I look at my spiritual state more than my physical state. When you take care of the spiritual, the physical often follows suit.
You've been abused in the carnal world with no help from good spiritual doctrine.

You've been given a false gospel. Salvation is in Christ in this life. We are saved from the Adamic curse, we are reconciled to God by faith in the life and reign of Jesus Christ. When you put faith in the Living Lord Jesus Christ you recieve a new creation kingdom in Christ. You recieve the Holy Spirit by faith in the reign of Jesus Christ. You are reconciled to God, by faith, and recieve a very real new creation kingdom in Christ.

Yeah, but why live. That’s just it. There is only pain here; there is no pain in Christ. You have to have some reason to remain physical, otherwise there’s no possible justification for continuing to do so when you have the alternative of joining Christ. So why do it. What possible “hope” is there, when no one is coming to save you and everything will only get objectively, metaphysically worse.
My existence is not getting metaphysically worse. Jesus Christ does come to save, to each individual soul, to make a conquering church. The word church means calling out to a new place. Each individual makes up the church in Christ. You're called to a new place in Christ, where the Holy Spirit is now your teacher. That is what faith in Jesus Christ brings.
The conquering church is the purpose of the book of Revelation. You in Christ, overcoming Babylon, is the whole reason for the book. Jesus Christ pays attention to each individual soul by the Holy Spirit that he sends to teach the soul how to live in Christ. That is the true dichotomy of salvation in Christ.

Being able implies being enabled...taking possession (cain/i can) over self disables ones potential (able/abel).
Now compare "able" and "I can" with Abel the shepherd (herding sheep) and Cain the farmer (renting land)...the ability to herd is enabled by sheep, while renting out land is based on taking possession of property.
It's taking possession over sheep which transformed herding into livestock farming, which implies mass murder. Just because I CAN (cain) doesn't mean one was enABLEd (abel) to do so...
I think this type of thinking stems from inability to accept that bad things just happen, that everything may not be well in the end and that this world might not be a good place in general. So, being unable to accept reality, those people bend over backwards to "prove" that somehow, someway all that's happening is for the good. Even in the face of absolutely undeniable evil they rationalise it away as ultimately being good. It's actually quite impressive to what extent of mental gymnastics they are prepared to go in order to avoid seeing the actual truth about this world we live in.
Hate to break it to you, but no. What we currently witness happening around the world is pure evil. It may not be well in the end and not everything happens for the good. Unless humanity somehow gets its shit together, we are utterly fucked.
If you focus on just the carnal world, that leads to your fatalism.
In the Spirit is life. As you progress from the spiritual you can see and have faith in all things working for good.
You can become and instrument of good.
