So gravity doesn't work in water? Or buoyancy doesn't work in air? Which are you implying?

If 'dark matter' works similar to water, it's still not exactly water as we know it and gravity works on it in a way we can't computate, currently, I think.

There is enough air, trapped between the peel and the orange due to gases being released by the fruit to float the orange

That was one theory that this guy tested.

Turned out its because the peel is about twice as buoyant as the orange, and there is a little air trapped under the skin as well, but thats not what makes it float.

You ever look at a orange peel? Looks much like cork material, im sure there is alot of air trapped in pockets in the skin.

It might shock OP to learn how submarines work as well.

my helium balloon floated away

but my lead balloon fell to the floor

Got it! The scientists here think air is not a medium. Why the vacuum experiments? We look for nature's secrets in things that nature abhors? At least muggles are consistent
