Don't know about on Android, but on Linux I use yt-dlp (should be available for Win/Mac too). It's the Swiss Army Knife of downloading tools. It can download media from just about anywhere.
Video Downloader is the best I've found, that consistently works. On the Play/Aurora store, it's got a black square, white down arrow, and gold underscore.
