Pokemon Go was a CIA OP to build a map of private spaces? Interesting, but worth viewing skeptically. (www.youtube.com)

People pointed this shit out as soon as it came out. It was subsidized by some USG Geospatial contractor.

They came out the same time all those fucking electric bikes showed up out of nowhere and then disappeared. 2015-2016 or so

worth viewing skeptically

They put it in the fucking terms of service when the game launched. Of course that’s what the game has always been. The company had done mapping services just like that before.

The connection to the CIA, to make this 3D AI assisted map, to be specific, is what I'm saying should be viewed skeptically. It's the old "I wouldn't put it past them..." idea.

Not an AI-assisted map, but a Large Spacial Model

I stand corrected.

Given that the government is allowed to take any data collected by any tech company at any time, without cause, I personally wouldn’t be skeptical.

I'm skeptical of everything, including that claim.
