We're at the point of not knowing what's real and what's fake online. This is why places like reddit are terrible cause chances are you're arguing with a bot.
I appreciate this place for the single reason of knowing I'm interacting with fellow humans.
You must determine whether I am a bot or a real human vampire.
You get just one question which I must answer.
Which question do you ask?
"What is your blood type?"
Alright Vlad, lol..
Is King Charles with u at Poenari Castle like he likes to frequent as a natural ancestor?
And if not a bot an NPC
very very interesting
Really, cause I don't get what this about
They also spy on all your notes and files and use the mic to data mine conversations. The "oh it's in the ToS" is a cowardly argument that is admission they're using lawfare against citizens while destroying their civil liberties. The net result is a drag net that steals your ideas faster than you can type them.
This is completely normal psychology.
However, once you rule out the actual aware psychological exposure to the material and the effect that has on normalizing things, things get more interesting.
However, none of the "dissemination and normalization of ideas, concepts and mental models" requires a simulation, or a hive mind.
Something X that connects all those who think/conceptualize/mentalize.
In oldest known spiritual texts this is the all-encompassing unity oneness that we all tap into. Some call it brahman, some Tao (no, "tao" is not "the way" that's a misnomer by idiots who should know better), some godhead, some something else.
Yes, if you want to stretch it, you can force your own model like "simulation" or "hive mind" onto that model, but the problem is that the forcing actually breaks the model itself.
The phenomenon described in the 4chan post is not new and hundreds of thinkers have come across that throughout the ages and written publicly about it.
