C.S. Lewis called it "chronological snobbery" if one thinks that something from a pervious age was stupid, just because it was old, or because they didn't have a modern understanding of certain scientific principles that were discovered later.
I'll go farther and say the average person in the Bronze Age was probably smarter than the average person today.
1,000 years from now, we are going to look awfully fucking stupid by comparison.
Kali Yuga researchers would agree. At bronze age our intelligence and stature had only started to diminish. Thankfully , if the calculations are correct , we are now nearing the end times of increasing stupidity.
The trouble is that we'll have to go through purification by fire to get to the actual start of increase of intelligence , wisdom , sanity and new revival of societies and values.

Bronze Age, that was like the time of Moses. I think people knew a lot more back then, as they were so close to the flood, rebuilding earth from the ruins of the world that was destroyed, so they had some humility.
