Doppler stations have a “recording bias” where the waves used to bounce off atmospheric rain will cause interference patterns in the observations if not corrected for. I’d venture the Palm Bay station is right at the center of the ripples.

Oh, if it’s military, that’s probably another type of radar interfering with Doppler. That explains it even better, honestly. You can have a single station miscalibrated, but the odds of that (particularly ahead of a storm) would be low. I remember reading years ago about how 5G can interfere with Doppler (and its accuracy), so that’s something you see sometimes, too. Thanks for the info.
