Galatians 6:7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
I had made a comment last night about a similar sign that happened in the early 80's in Los Angeles. A tornado ran through a portion of town that took out every building except one on one side of the street, but crossed the road about middle of the street, took out a building and crossed back. The building still standing had a sign out front that said Jesus Saves. I think I saw that on the news and I haven't found it in any photos I found on line. I saw a story from 1983, but I think it was before that. I was young but always remember
I pretty sure it was before the 1983 event. I think the event I'm thinking about was in the 70's. Could have been the one in El Segundo or North Hollywood. I remember laughing when I saw the Jesus Saves sign still standing proud and everything around it was on the ground. I also remember my aunt scolding me for laughing, but I was laughing because the sign was the only thing standing. As I typed this, I remember there was also a building that exploded and brought everything around it down. I could be confusing the 2 events because it was more than 40 years ago
If i recall, something similar happened in New Orleans during a hurricane or tornado, huge area wrecked, a church and the cross were completely un phased
The deception of the elect is a curious one and I think it could be a long game topped with an ultimate decision to choose loyalties.
It could start with signs and wonders, maybe some miraclious type things and then total control with a mark of some kind.
...destruction, wanting to die but can't, plagues, famine, gonna be a wild ride. This too shall pass and all that though.
Desperate people do desperate things, I myself plan to pray for manna from heaven and hide where He tells me to, kinda hoping it's a treehouse.
It is good to question everything, I think and time will tell. Considering God is cool and funny, I could see this being Him and I'm gonna laugh a lil either way.
He said He wouldn't wipe out the whole earth again though so maybe we could be grateful?
We are wanting none to perish (I feel how He feels about it) and now is the time to be seeing the lines drawn in the sand and wonder about where you are standing.
It could even be a prank by people, I'm happy for anything that brings God to people's minds, Let's Go
No, I didn't look into it. I suspect it's load shedding as it's summer in an overpacked city in the summer, but then again, there isn't as much AC in France.
I guess you didn't look at any of the other videos or pictures I linked too, also where I said it wasn't the whole damn city that power went out on.
Paris has laws that building can't be more than 3 storis high in many places, but if you've seen John Wick 4 you know Sacre Cour is on a large hill. It makes for a poignant picture nevertheless.
Maybe God long ago put into the mind of the pastor of the church to buy a fucking generator. Who knows?
You literally claimed that the church was the only structure still lit in the district when the image clearly shows that the buildings around it are lit as well.
Fucking, degenerate liar. Just admit that you are full of shit and that this was a bullshit post.
Lie? I didn't lie. It turns out your interpretation was likely correct, once you zoom in. I just see some lights on inside some windows, in otherwise dark buildings. Could be taken as lots of things.
Besides, I said power didn't go out over the whole city. Take things out of context much?
Also, since your reading comprehension sucks, I said "the only structure still lit" which means it's got lights on it, like a spotlight. Not that it's the only one with lights on.

The power outage was supposedly more widespread than reported in this tweet.

Anyway, it could be a coincidence, but....if I were the French, I would maybe see it as a sign not to mock God.
what if this was designed as one of the false signs and wonders to deceive 'the elect' and you're here falling for it?

Could be. But it does not contradict established doctrine, so you know it doesn't come from hell. .
So, you think that the Christian God uses power outages to show his displeasure?
What a fucking bitch. He used to wipe out life on Earth and had whole nations wiped out and that's the best he can do these days?
What a pathetic loser.
Maybe God did, maybe God didn't.
You seem worried about the possibility that he did though. That tells us a lot.
I suspect it was Balder though, not Yahweh.
Are you never concerned that you are pissing off other gods with your worship of a Middle Eastern Storm god?
New tactic, eh? Meh. That's lame bait mon ami.
Edgy. I bet you have a lot of friends.

do we know the reason why the power went out? Or what theyre saying the reason is?
No, I didn't look into it. I suspect it's load shedding as it's summer in an overpacked city in the summer, but then again, there isn't as much AC in France.
You can see plenty of buildings being lit near the church in that picture.
Are you fucking blind?

Calm down.
You literally claimed that the church was the only structure still lit in the district when the image clearly shows that the buildings around it are lit as well.

Man you're an asshole! Lol
Did u enjoy the troonfest mockery of an opening of the Olympics?
U know they are calling it the worst opening in history right? Lolol
I didn't watch it. Olympic Games are a corrupt and highly commercial event and I have no interest in something like that.
I honestly don't understand why so many people are even interested in this bullshit.
The glory of human achievement. I can see what people enjoying that would bother you.
If anyone here is a degenerate, it's you, homie.
It's not entirely clear that anything other than the church, in that area, is still lit from that picture. That's your interpretation.
Besides, I said that the whole city didn't lose power.
Calm down. God's watching.

There you go.
Why do you always lie?

Why would you think it odd that the church is illuminated while the residential houses around it are nit?
It's a landmark and it's always illuminated ar night while the surrounding buildings aren't.
Well, at least you finally admit to being wrong. Took you look enough.
They're not "lit." They have some lights on, that is not "lit".
Why are you such a degenerate liar?
Are you fucking blind? Zoom in a bit and you will see plenty lit buildings.
Why in earth do you lie about something that is so easily verified?
