No on said Jesus was 'with' Rome. Rome was the enemy of the Jews. Psalm 110 states that Jesus will rule in the midst of Israels enemies and Rome is what became the seat of Christianity.

He shall judge among the goy, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.
Jesus is there to kill all our rulers and fill our countries with dead bodies, correct?

Yes, many people will die, many everything will die but God has promised never to wipe out the whole earth again and I think death does not equal damnation, the soul will live for eternity and Jesus has given us a way to be with Him forever.
Evil shall die forever and God will be with His people, all His people(from everywhere!) And they will be safe, finally and forevermore.
It only sounds like a fairytale because it's what the heart desires and we were given those desires because they are fufilled in Him.

but the word translated as 'heathen' is, in the original Hebrew, the word 'goy'. You can check your bible concordance.
The 'God' you worship is only the master of one race, not of humanity.
