The text says nothing about the tree withering. You just made that up.
The text specifically says that there were no figs because it wasn't the season for it. Not because it was barren. It becomes barren after God curses it.
Withering is not mentioned anywhere. You are just making shit up.
Why would God curse tree without fruit? Why would he be surprised that there s no fruit when it's not the season for fruit AND he's all-knowing anyway?
For a normal human, that would be stupid behavior, for a god, it's just insane.
I'm sorry, it seems I can try to explain further:
(Mark, Matthew and Luke cover a lot of the same material from different perspectives)
Seeing a lone fig tree by the road, He went up to it and found nothing on it except leaves. And He said to it, “May no fruit ever come from you again!” At once the fig tree withered.
20 When the disciples saw it, they were amazed and said, “How did the fig tree wither so quickly?”
21 Jesus answered them, “I assure you: If you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you tell this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will be done. 22 And if you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”
It really happened, the fig tree was barren and then God made it to wither, it is a physical illustration, I'm not sure how else to say it.

So again, you made that up.
Yes He did: He said to it, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again!” And His disciples heard it.

I've already explained why
