I admit, this looks pretty corny, but again I like to look at both sides. Which is why I cant quite make up my mind about the moon landing (yes literal walking contradiction). Like ive said maybe a thousand times before. We either made it, and never left. Or we didnt make it at all.

Alot of evidence suggests they didnt make it, but considering how many people are involved with getting people to low earth orbit, it feels like its a hard thing to deny. I just dont think organic matter can go any further, even with our current levels of technology, let alone 60+ years ago? Just seems, implausible.

Anyway, looking at this objectively. They dont look to be part of the inner suit/vacuum, but some kind of exoskeleton/pack or something.

Im guessing they need shielding over the shoulders/hips, joints where its easy to snag on something.

https://physicsworld.com/a/long-distance-space-travel-addressing-the-radiation-problem/

Space radiation is currently regarded as the most limiting factor for long-distance space travel because exposure to it is associated with significant negative effects on the human body. However, data on these effects are currently only available for those members of the Apollo programme that travelled as far as the Moon – too small a number from which to draw any significant conclusions about the effects of the space environment on the human body. In addition, although exposure to space radiation, including galactic cosmic rays and solar “proton storms”, has previously been linked to the development of cancer and neurological problems, data on the consequences of space radiation exposure for the cardiovascular system are lacking.

If they really made it, it was proably a miracle no one ended up sterile or insane.
