How about we go by "per actual situation"? I'm involved in several communities, as well as my job, my hometown people, my friends from university, and my neighbors. Social media makes it pretty easy to keep tabs on everyone.
That's not how statistics work. If you know 150 people in a city of 10 million 15 people wouldn't represent 10% of 10 million. You live in a country with roughly 340 million people your friend group is not an adequate representation of the population.
