he’s just playing to his base. his available data shows him that most ppl that will vote for him trust vaccines (when forced to). if you are a trump thump and that makes you uncomfortable it totally should.

if his base is not persuaded to abandon him as a candidate for REPEATEDLY making comments like this, then they ARE NOT ANTI VACCINE. period. he is aware of this. he bends the will of his base to his liking.
They are anti-vaxx or at least "vaccine hesitant" (bs propaganda language). It takes a lot of effort and doublethink for them to resolve their allegiance to him and the hard reality of the clotshots being what they are. Luckily, cognitive dissonance is the norm these days.
