You are asking my opinion on to me what is a self explanatory statement. What I think "being your own master" and what you think it means could be totally different things and I feel when it comes to anarchism specifically after the groundwork it's best to come to your own well considered conclusions

Look around, most people do. Men specifically are taught you need to have a wife and kids and work overtime to buy shit you don't need and save for the 5-10 years of "retirement" to enjoy your golden years. Most people choose a life of servitude without ever considering what they want.

I meant is there any performative contradiction in me deciding to be a literal slave to a dominatrix for example while declaring that I'm my own master? What you mean by "being your own master" is being free from any constraints aka liberation theory, where complete personal liberty is the ultimate good in life. This would include the liberty to surrender my liberty too. And thus the snake eats its tail.
I never said that. I said you decide what being your own master means, Anarchism is individual choice wrapped in a scary looking word. In your example you are deciding the dominatrix is a legitimate authority by your own volition, by your own choice.
