If you want to cure alcoholism you start by getting rid of the alcohol, even though there are much deeper causes for such a self-destructive addiction and yes, those should be addressed too. I'm talking about the one true apostolic Church that Christ established and that hasn't changed since then - the Eastern Orthodox Church (Roman Catholicism was once part of it before the schism of 1054).
