It proably doesnt help that america trained these people and somehow they keep ending up with misplaced weapons from america.

Like buddy's work truck that ended up on cnn in a video of a isis recruitment video a month or two after selling it. LOL. If I remember correctly he ended up trying to sue someone when his business went under when all the locals thought he was sponsoring the terrorist group.

How does shit like this happen, yea, misplaced.

https://www.nytimes.com/2015/12/15/us/texas-plumber-sues-car-dealer-after-his-truck-ends-up-on-syrias-front-lines.html

A Texas plumber has filed a lawsuit against a car dealership after a used truck he sold showed up on the front lines in Syria being used by Islamist fighters. The logo and phone number of his company, Mark-1 Plumbing, were still visible on the doors.

After images of the truck appeared online, the plumber, Mark Oberholtzer of Galveston County, claims he lost business and received hundreds of threats that accused him of being a terrorist sympathizer. Mr. Oberholtzer is seeking more than $1 million in damages, in a lawsuit filed last week, according to his lawyer, Craig Eiland. A copy of the lawsuit was provided to The New York Times.

Something doesnt quite sound right with this article. Im pretty sure I remember a video being played shortly after selling the truck, but the article claims that he never seen pictures until 2014 when he received a call about it.
