They don't even get the really important thing - that the voting turnover significantly rised from around 60% to 75%. That means that even politically neutral people decided to participate in elections and vote for Putin, making his victory undeniable, since more than 50% of all voters voted for him for the first time ever.

And it is purely achievement of Western elites and their MSM including that Politico with idiots writing nothing except pure bullshit. :)

It was protest voting really, not for Putin, but against Western liberal insanity and Western inbreed elites - to elect guy they hate most.

PS: No, I didn't vote at all, I do not account elections as something scientific and sensible. This shit with permanent elections doesn't fit Russia as civilization phenomenon at all. It is not politicians who change Russia, it is Russia who change politicians. If you take a look at Russian history, Russia always developed under long-term ruler, and had serious problems each time when ruler was short-term. And every time long-term ruler was eventually changed by Russia to her benefits. Took anyone - Ivan Grozny, Peter I, Ekaterine II, Alexander II, even Stalin or Brezhnev. All of them was eventually changed by Russia to her benefits. Even German Ekaterine or Georgian Stalin. Elections in Russia could be necessary only when ruler dies or dynasty cut in case of monarchy.

Are you concerned that not voting might put you on an FSB list? Russians love their "Strongmen"

No, I'm not. Why should I?

Russians love their "Strongmen"

Putin is accounted as liberal here, if you are not aware. And I think he is too old to have a chance to become a "strongman". Hardly in his next 6 years he will suddenly drop his liberalism and give orders to began operation on extermination of globalist elite all over the world f.e.

I can't imagine what the world looks like from his vantage point but from the outside he's in the driver's seat of a country that has been painted in popular American culture as brutal and treacherous Guys gotta have nerves of steel idk how you could sleep where an unknown portion of the people you surround yourself with are always searching for the slightest perceived weakness and the guy is 71 if he kicked the bucket it wouldn't be shocking So yes if I were in Russia I'd be concerned about how an incredibly dangerous geriatric man viewed people who didn't vote for him but what do I know about Russian culture not much

71 is not geriatric plus he appears to be in sound physical and mental state. I'd rather have experienced people as leaders than the young global degenerate clowns that are in vouge in the West.
