I know they forbidden to eat squids (like pork), but shrimps are OK for them. IDK, in Russia muslims eat shrimps without any doubts.
Meanwhile, Turks, being muslim, have dishes with shrimps in their cuisine.
Really that things with shrimps is interesting.
Jews, due to genetics are very suspectable to the allergen in shrimps. Up to anafilactic shock and all that stuff. Arabs, being genetically close to Jews could have same prohibition about shrimps (do they?). In Russia muslims are not of arab origin, so shrimps pose no danger for them.
Also, shrimps allergen activate same immunoglobulins that was used to detect "COVID-19 immunity". So, if you had need "not-a-vaccine proof" for, f.e. for travelling abroad, you could eat a lot of shrimps (with beer f.e.) and make that test within a day or two. Test will show that you "vaccinated"/"had covid". :)
Forbidden implies forwards (for) offer (bid) towards responding choice. Consenting to the suggested word "forbidden" permits others the power to forbid and permit, which in return tempts oneself to ignore being the responding choice (life) within that which nature offers (inception towards death).
Muslims are also forbidden from eating shell fish/shrimp/etc..
