You somehow missed same temporary ban on automotive fuel (gasoline and diesel) in Sep 21 2023. As you missed other spring and autumn bans in many previous years.

You know, that agriculture eats noticeable amount of fuel in spring and autumn. If you are not aware nobody here buy that EV and solar/wind crap at all. Ban on fuel export is pretty usual measure to prevent or reduce price hike due to increased fuel demand for agriculture in sowing and harvest times. Useful to keep agriculture costs low so lower prices on food.

Interesting thing that completely missed by retarded dumbfucks from Reuters is that this time diesel export is not banned, as usual, only gasoline. Looks like we have no problems with diesel production increase this time, unlike in the past.

So, as usual, Reuters lied to you.

In reality, this year situation with fuel production become better, since government don't even need to ban diesel export, as usual, only gasoline one. :)

Well, reading MSM is somewhat useful, so I would not encourage you to abandon MSM sources. But it is useful only to observe current level of lies and insanity, and in no case should be used for obtaining any information.

Imagine being one of the largest oil producers in the world and not having enough refining capacity to supply your local economy with gas.

It's not about capacity, its about fucking "capitalism". Demand hike always produce price hike, regardless of available capacity. Just because nobody will run factories on full capacity when demand is low, and increasing capacity according to demand need some time.

IDK, how you don't know such simple things living in free and democratic West with capitalism? Or are you so used to it that just do not notice?

Suddenly, price rises in sowing and harvesting season are pretty usual thing for US even in the past - https://www.eia.gov/todayinenergy/images/2014.08.29/main.png

So, US had and have problems with refining capacity to supply local economy demand?

Seriously? :)

What other capitalist nation has such recurring restrictions?

What other capitalist nation has such recurring restrictions?

I don't know. Looking at seasonal price hikes, I think they just don't care about fuel prices for agriculture at all. And looks like now they even try to destroy their agriculture, not even talking about any support.

So is this a good and normal thing ir not?

It depends on the goals. If goal is a profit, then Western variant is kind of normal for reaching goal.

If goal is cheaper future harvest, then there should be some other methods, obviously.
