I'm trying to school myself on some stuff.
I'll add some links talking about this but I'm also inquiring for your feedback. Cheers.

Pretty much all articles are saying the same, I don't want to use software if I don't have to
Also this came up in related search and it's kinda over my head: https://ai-alignment.com/can-we-efficiently-distinguish-different-mechanisms-690abcc0fba9 is it related? I dunno
I'll keep looking but it's sparse. I would be interested in new search platforms if you have some. Primarily using presearch.org right now.
Edit: so we use AI to tell us about AI? Are we sure they won't lie? I don't buy... https://www.inkey.ai/blog/revolutionizing-content-authenticity-inkey-unveils-its-groundbreaking-ai-detector-tool
Look for the light source as well. AI art tends to cast shadows in multiple places that make no sense, or have highlights in areas that make no sense.
For example, see this thread.

In the Supergirl on the right, the sun is behind her, but her knees and right boob in the costume shine brightly on the front, like the sun is in two places as once.
This was all over the Apollo photos but those are REAL right?
Does anyone except redditors really honestly think the moon landing was real? It’s the one conspiracy that even mainstream normies with multiple Covid vaccines can still buy into.
I'm no expert on the supposed moon landing hoax, and I expect a lot of replies that I won't bother with. However, the sun and lights from a camera make overlapping shadows. Stand in a shopping mall under a skylight, and you're going to have two shadows, a dark one from the sun, and a grayish one from the florescent lights. I find it difficult to believe that if it was a hoax, they wouldn't have taken that into account.
In the AI art in question at the link, Supergirl is flying through the air. It's supposed to be an action shot where there would be no cameraman flying in front of her with a flash.
