Just ignore the Bitcoin stuff..
Really it is not as scary as they try to convince you. It is scary for them, not for you. I survived at least two economy collapses, and even does not account them as some serious events in my life.
So few recomendations from economy collapse vet :) :
These are basics, I hope more or less international, of course there are more things that important or useful in time of collapse, may be more nation specific, IDK, Americans could find new opportunities, f.e., they are good in that, others could find something else, but I thinlk you will easily figure it out by yourself. :)
Totally agree.
Wiser words!
Can confirm ^^^^^
Great post and the only thing i would add is the value of physical books. Information is power, people are too used to just googling it or watching a youtube video to figure it out. Get the manuals for your equipment, have books on repair and building, recipes, canning times, etc. A book can be read by candlelight or daylight, if the grid is fucked you have no online resources to go to.
Own books, read to your children, and teach them to read. Do NOT trust any teacher to do this for you. Ensure your child can fucking read, and work on speed reading as well if you are able.
And I know im wasting my digital breath here but have actual books like farming, gardening and repair and not useless holy books. A book on edible plants found in your region is infinitely more valuable.
Exactly! I just forgot that today "everything is internet, no need for books!".
Textbooks on math, physics, chemistry, mechanics, biology, gardening and medicine is a minimum you must have around. Also good literature and history books will neve be excess.
Yes textbooks is a perfect thing to have! Great point, agree completely.
They key problem with shit like this --- they measure "the economy" in numbered pieces of paper.
We should be measuring desirable tangible assets instead.
Yes it is inevitable in a finite system.
However fitting it on a time curve and estimating its date is much harder. The further out you are the larger the uncertainty and error.
It usually becomes accurately forecastable when it is almost blatantly obvious to anyone.
2 more weeks!
Understand the exponential function and time.

It seems that at a certain point, many people with an online following start to huff their own farts.
