funnily enough, Zelda actually is in the most literal sense a girl and a boss. ever since ocarina of time, she's been a character who helps link a lot either working in the background or straight up saving him.
I just really hope they don't give her these snarky girl boss attitude, because that would really only work for tetra in wind waker. most of the rest of the time, younger Zelda is usually whimsical and adventurous, but older Zelda is usually firm and collected. neither of these are helped by snarky girl boss.
To some extent. But she grew into that role, over the years. Which does not make her a 'girl boss' but a person with her own arch, acting as a sidekick. Her Hero's journey is best held off for movie 2 or 3, not movie 1. Movie 1 is for Links 'hero's journey' exclusively.
honestly, I disagree. Zelda series is different from others in that there is not necessarily an arc for the characters between games, with the exception of direct sequels like Majora's Mask and tears of the Kingdom. each game is a new incarnation of the same character, with slight differences to fit that world.
As the tech and budget for the zelda series improved, Zelda gained more personality, but I wouldn't really attribute it to a character arc.
There is a meta arc. There might not be much there, but she is more of a side kick or partner, and not a Mary Sue or a Girl Boss. She has her own motivations in saving the kingdom.

Good points, I can't disagree.
