I'd say they are surly manged to an extent. Iran is managed to a bigger extent. It's complicated in a way.
There was/is a legitimate potential for a militia in the south of Lebanon, Jewish Israelis occupied that part, for some time. Jewish Israelis kidnapped children, raped women, had a local force helping them out which did the same, etc..
So the people there genuinely hate the Jews.
But here is the twist: When there is a genuine force fighting Israelis which the Jews cannot eliminate, they will try to manage as much as they can. The same way they do with false opposition and fake truthers etc.
Hezbollah is controlled by Iran, they give them the money, tech, training, etc.. Before that it was Syria/Iran so they are surly managed in that way.
Are the leadership completely cucked? I don't know. But as a bigger orgnization, they are basically the state in south Lebanon and have influence all over Lebanon. They have to toe the line, they have investments etc..
All that said, I think the Jews will pit them to war, because the Jews hold grudges and can never forget anyone who killed Jews. Jews also want to steal the south of Lebanon. Will Hezbollah make that process easier or harder for Jews? Are decentralized militias better than a centralized one?
