So you're saying the unadulterated word of God Almighty needs third party commentary? Sounds like a shitty book and a shitty author, to me at least
So why do I need another book to understand the first book? If it's God's word shouldn't it be self evident?
I'm a Buddhist, one core aspect of our religion is "ehipassiko" or "come and see". You don't need commentary, extra books or YouTube videos, you hear it and you try it and it works. I'm wary of religious teaching that can't be tested on its own merits.

Do you know Egypt is mentioned in the Bible about 600 times? yet, not once are the Pyramids mentioned ? go ahead do a search yourself, it's easy with an online Bible. Yet, ancient Egypt is home to countless treasures. To more than 100 pyramids, ancient cities, temples, statues like the Sphinx, and countless other mysteries, none of this is ever mentioned in the Bible. It’s like the writers of both the Old and New Testament in the Bible knew anything about ancient Egypt.
There is nothing recorded in Egypt literature archives about Moses, or Israelites, or slavery. In fact Egypt didn't widely practice slavery, and never had slave open markets. Also, nothing recorded about the Exodus, escaping of the Jews to the promised land, in Egyptian literature.

I know what you're going to say "What about Mary?" ... Mary was a virgin, according to the story. Hard to find evidence of the historical Jesus, with so much misinformation, and history suppression out there.
