Playing into the literalist religions. aka Synthesis, as in Thesis/Anti-thesis/Synthesis

After seeing UFOs, my parents and their pastor triangulating the sightings.....they worked it into their understanding of demons.

The notion of 'demons' came from daemon-ic force........any/all force that works towards any countering or 'negative' effect.

Literal 'demons' does nothing to explain.
