I don't think it is a hoax too. If you are not targeting top efficiency, anti-missile defence system is perfectly doable, and Israel have (had?) enough engineeres to create one, nothing exceptional, especially for the modern tech.
I think the main lie is in the advertised efficiency of that system. Trying to replace real advancements by ads and propaganda for citizens rarely ends nice.
Also, interesting moment - Israel refuse to sell Iron Dome to anybody even if asked, despite AD systems are popular and demanded goods around the world. Reasons for deniai, if any given at all, looks like joke.
Wrong, they are selling it to a few places today. Think Ukraine fell through, dunno, but in Finland, and possibly others.
The main thing about it are, perhaps the coding, and signatures. These have taken an array of expertise and data.
Part of this UFO buzz. Signatures for missile defense.
Still selling, yes. Jews are good in selling. I mean process, not the result for customer.
Really there is nothing special or secret in signatures at all. You are getting few parameters from radar - distance, altitude, speed, trajectory, reflected signal level and so on. Each target have its own set of parameters. For conventional ballistic and cruise missiles and different civilian flying objects, set of parameters is very specific, so you could easily determine the target type and act accordingly. Problems begin with unconventional targets.
Not quite, how were those Kinzhal downed? Why were its scientists charged with supposed treason? Not sure how that went. Or if it was a Kinzhal. But the freaking trajectory on a much faster missile. Come on.
There is an array of data from radar to defenses, a response to it, not simply the trajectory. Easier if there's a lock. What's the lock. What kind of signature? I really dunno. I am not an expert, just well read.
Not all match this. Surely. Hence there are various countermeasures or defenses to those threats.
Yes I agree, there are a lot of adverts and none are 100%. Those adverts are often we downed our own missiles.
The other way some work not by trajectory is simply flash bang detonating prior. It then explodes anything entering its blast radius or damages it enough to prevent larger impact.
It was never downed. Launcher and radar vehicles from two different Patriot complexes "intercepted" them with itself. With huge explosions on the ground with destruction of respective Patriot complexes. Meanwhile, did you ever heard anything about succesfull work of Ukrainian Patriots since then? Except endless begging of Zelensky for new ones? Just before that moment, Ukrainian MoD mentioned Patriots almost in every press-release. They was very proud having them. After the hit, they didn't mention them anymore. Why, after such huge "success"? Also, there was no any videos picturing Patriot missile launches, since the last one, where Patriots shoot out all missiles in panic without single succesfull hit and then was destroyed.
This scientists never develop Kinzhal. They worked on some system, common to many missiles, including Kinzhal. They charged on attempt to sell that system info to China bypassing official channels. Since that case perfectly fall under conception of treason , they was charged by maximum. Just as example for others to not try to interfere with government business. There is rumors, that it was Chineese side who surrender them to FSB.
You don't have a clue how things work here, and so easily fall into MSM lies. Listen, Kinzhal is a small and relatively simple missile, that is why it is used in Ukraine. Russian military do not afraid that it could occasionally fall into enemy hands, even in one piece in case of malfunction, not even talking about debris, and emeny will find out some significant secrets. So it is greenlighted for use in Ukraine. There are much more advanced and important things in development. You might heard about Burevestnik hypersonic cruise missile with nuclear engine. This missile in development since around mid-2000 and had multiple failures and even once was the cause of small environmental disaster in White Sea due to failure. But none of Burevestnik developers was ever punished for their failures. And that thing is magnitude orders more important than small Kinzhal. So why would anybody punish some missile system developers for the Kinzhal failure (nonexistent, meanwhile), when there are tons of reasons to punish Burevestnik developers? Even in USSR developers was never sued for treason for failures even by most tyrannical leaders. It is too valuable guys to jail them for faillures. In the worst case they will be forced to fix their mistake, and they would continue their work, may be without much comfort.
If imagine that MSM told you truth, and here, in Russia government punishes scientists and developers for failures, then Burevestnik will be impossible, because all its developers would be in jail for treason. But it finally works. So MSM lies.
There is completely another problem connected with that case of traitors - developers. In Russia, even cool scientist or engineer have a salary that many times less than salary of some dumb bank manager or private business CEO. Because fucking managers think that engineers, scientists or high-skilled workers do not deserve same salaries as top management stuff. That is shit that was smuggled from the West with so called "capitalism". Those who manage money should be more wealthy than others, who manage other, much more real things. That is one of the reasons those developers tried to sell their stuff. Only one of reasons, really. To do that, you not only have to want more money, but you have to be ready to betray colleagues and employer. And in case of their job, the employer is Motherland. Almost all scientists, engineers, researches in Russia who work for the state have salary lower than it should really be. But only few try to solve that problem with treason,
"Lock" is when trajectory predicted by radar in agreement with trajectory of missile. That means it is possible now to shoot the target, since you know where it will be in near future and where AD missile should be to intercept target. Lock does not mean hit. If target could maneur, or too fast, AD missile could miss, even if it have some onboard targeting system. AD missile could have a system to adjust course on the go using data from radar, but that is tricky challenge to make it work, and have limitations, f.e. data excahnge take time, and at the speeds near or higher than speed of sound it could took too long to really help.
