When you copy a YouTube link now - this started a number of weeks back - it also includes a "session ID" in the form of "si=randomstring". Remove this "si=blah" bit from your links before you post, or else Google is tying clicks on that link back to you.

Yeah i noticed if you hit share link they added this at the end. I'm pretty sure it traces the share back to your account. Luckily it's easy to remove.

Ah was wondering what that was. Thought maybe they finally hit the limit on their original link pattern or something.

And I don't think it is a session ID either because I did it from two videos in succession and it was different IDs
Enable "url tracking protection" under "privacy" in the filter lists of uBO.
