Palestinians could have had their own nation for 75 years and Arabs could have had peace, instead they chose endless war.

First off, there a several Arab-Israeli treaties listed so, no, Palestine is obviously not just a political attempt to delegitimize Israel if most of the major political players in the region officially recognize it.
