That would suck. It has taken me 2 years to step back from thinking we are doomed to mass die-offs and martial law. While I prepared for such a scenario, I'm hoping the shots are a much slower killer than 2-5 years, and that we have time to adapt without a complete societal collapse. I am still amazed the world is as functional as it is. I assumed the Russian invasion was a distraction to cover the mass die-offs that were about to occur. Maybe it is, and the die-offs are a lot slower than I expected. Maybe the human body was more resilient than they expected and their mass genocide didn't go according to plan.
However things shake out, I would prefer a much longer march to the 2030 timeline.
