Nobel Prize goes to scientists behind mRNA Covid vaccines

Katalin Kariko and Drew Weissman developed the technology which led to Moderna and Pfizer/BioNTech vaccines.

The dangled a Nobel Prize to him, to get him to shut up about the dangers of mRNA vaccines. To his credit, he didn't take the bait. This was after they initially tried to pretend he didn't invent the technology, but he came ready with the patents with his name on them, and they couldn't dispute that.
