Hello, this is Bing. I can help you with your question. 😊
This is a transcript of a scene from the finale of the first season of The Lost Symbol, a TV series based on Dan Brown’s novel of the same name1. The scene shows the villain Mal’akh presenting a knife to Peter Solomon, his father, and asking him to kill him with it. The knife is supposed to be the Akedah dagger, the one that Abraham was going to use to sacrifice his son Isaac in the Bible1. Mal’akh believes that by dying with the dagger, he will become a god1.
The Lost Symbol is a thriller that follows Robert Langdon, a Harvard symbologist, as he tries to solve a series of puzzles and mysteries related to ancient secrets and hidden wisdom2. The TV series is available on Peacock, a streaming service by NBCUniversal2.
Some additional information that might interest you are:
The Akedah dagger is not a historical artifact, but a fictional creation by Dan Brown. There is no evidence that Abraham had a special knife made from a meteorite3.
Meteorites have been used to make weapons and tools in various cultures, such as ancient Egypt, India, Indonesia, and China. Some examples of meteorite swords are King Tutankhamun’s dagger, Tristan Dare’s blade, and Emperor Jahangir’s sword4.
The Lost Symbol is the third novel in Dan Brown’s Robert Langdon series, after Angels & Demons and The Da Vinci Code. The TV series is the first adaptation of the novel, which was originally planned to be a movie starring Tom Hanks2.

The story they’re talking about is based on the biblical account of Abraham and Isaac, which is found in Genesis 22:1-191. It is a story of faith, obedience, and sacrifice. Here is a summary of the story:
God tested Abraham by asking him to offer his son Isaac as a burnt offering on Mount Moriah.
Abraham obeyed God and took Isaac, along with some wood, fire, and a knife, to the place God had told him.
Isaac asked his father where the lamb was for the sacrifice, and Abraham said that God would provide it.
Abraham built an altar, bound Isaac, and laid him on the wood. He was about to kill his son when an angel of the Lord stopped him and told him not to harm the boy.
The angel said that God knew that Abraham feared him and was willing to give up his only son. He also said that God would bless Abraham and his descendants because of his obedience.
Abraham looked up and saw a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. He took the ram and offered it as a burnt offering instead of his son.
Abraham named the place “The Lord Will Provide” and the angel of the Lord repeated the promise of God’s covenant with him.

whats this knife they're talking about
Searching for: the Akedah dagger
Generating answers for you…
The knife they’re talking about is the Akedah dagger, a fictional artifact created by Dan Brown for his novel and TV series The Lost Symbol. According to the story, the dagger is made from a meteorite and was the same one that Abraham was going to use to sacrifice his son Isaac in the Bible1
The Akedah dagger is not a real historical object, but it is based on the biblical story of the Binding of Isaac, which is found in Genesis 22:1-19. In this story, God tests Abraham’s faith by asking him to offer his son Isaac as a burnt offering on Mount Moriah. Abraham obeys God and prepares to kill his son, but an angel stops him and provides a ram instead. God then blesses Abraham and his descendants for his obedience2
The Binding of Isaac is a story that has been interpreted and commented on by various religious traditions, such as Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. It is also a source of inspiration for many artistic and literary works, such as paintings, sculptures, poems, and novels2

so what's going on with the story here.. why would he do that.. god, or yahweh, telling abraham to kill his son isaac? For what?
Searching for: why did God tell Abraham to kill his son Isaac
Generating answers for you…
That’s a good question. The story of Abraham and Isaac is a complex and challenging one, and different people may have different interpretations of it. Here are some possible reasons why God told Abraham to kill his son Isaac:
God wanted to test Abraham’s faith and obedience, and see if he loved God more than anything else, even his own son. God also wanted to show Abraham that he could trust God to keep his promise of making him a great nation through Isaac, even if it seemed impossible12
God wanted to teach Abraham and his descendants about the value of human life and the horror of human sacrifice, which was practiced by some of the pagan nations around them. God wanted them to know that he did not desire or approve of such rituals, and that he would provide a better way of atonement for their sins34
God wanted to foreshadow what he would do with his own Son, Jesus Christ, two thousand years later. He wanted to reveal his love and grace to humanity, by giving his only Son as a sacrifice for our sins, and raising him from the dead. He wanted us to understand the cost and the gift of salvation, by putting it in human terms with Isaac as a type of Jesus35

Let's get the transcript.
abraham was 100 and his wife sarah was
90
when just as god had promised they had a
son and named him isaac
isaac was their only child and they
loved him with all their hearts
as isaac grew into a young boy abraham
taught isaac
to love god and to follow all the
commands that god put before them
one day god spoke to abraham
abraham very quickly abraham replied
here i am lord then god said
i want you to take your son isaac your
only son
that you love so much and go to a
mountain in the region of moriah
and place him on an altar and sacrifice
him
now this grieved and saddened the heart
of abraham because
he loved his only son isaac so much
the next morning with a heavy heart
abraham
saddled his donkey he gathered enough
wood for the burnt offering
and then he took isaac and two of his
young men that worked with him
and began the journey to the region of
moriah
they had traveled three days when
abraham looked up
and saw a mountain in the distance he
told the young men
stay here while isaac and i go to the
mountain
to worship abraham placed the wood for
the burnt offering upon isaac
picked up a stick of fire and his knife
and began to travel
toward the mountain as they were
traveling
isaac said father abraham
said yes my son isaac said
we have fire and wood for a burnt
offering but we don't have a lamb
abraham answered my son god himself will
provide a lamb for the burnt offering
so they continue to the mountain
together
soon they reached the place that god had
told abraham to sacrifice his son isaac
as a burnt offering he tied up isaac's
arms and gently laid him on an altar
where he had placed the wood then he
took the knife
and prepared to kill his son isaac
suddenly abraham heard an angel of the
lord call out to him from heaven
abraham abraham and abraham replied
here i am lord and the angel said
do not lay a hand upon the son that you
love
so much do not do anything to him
now i know that you fear god and will
obey all that i ask of you
you have proven that you will not
withhold your only son
that you love just then abraham looked
up
and there tangled in the branches of a
bush was a ram
caught by his horns he knew then that
god had provided this ram as a sacrifice
instead of his beloved son isaac then
the angel of the lord
said a second time abraham the lord
declares
because you have obeyed all that i ask
and have not withheld your only son
whom you love i will multiply all your
descendants
as many as the stars in the sky and the
sand of the seashores
all nations on earth will be blessed
through your descendants
because you have obeyed me
[Applause]
so
[Applause]
[Music]
you
The sacrifice stuff in the Bible has always bothered me. While I believe in a higher power and do think there are truths in the Bible this stuff has always rubbed me wrong. So because god asks us to do something wrong we should because it's different when god asks? Doesn't this go against the entire idea of not being swayed by evil? Why did god want animals burned for him? Symbology of giving away a prized item and knowing that god would still take care of them ? Maybe IDK but any being that wants things killed for him doesn't vibe well with me.
Consider Ab-ra-ham to have 'come out from' or let's say 'overcome' the Land of Canaan. Let's suppose that this indicates their common practice of ritual human sacrifice as something to drop.
The God of the Day required it. It was pretty universal.
But in the New Covenant....human sacrifice is eschewed.....denied or no longer 'required' by God and so a little play is produced to 'show them'.
An encoded play with historic if not literal significance.
Footnote:
Vulcanized rock can create glass-like material like obsidian which when chipped was the sharpest known objects in history. Ritual daggers made from it .....including meteorites, real or claimed.....were common. Game of Thrones showed this as 'Dragon Glass'. The rock in the Kaaba and under the British throne are said to be meteorites. Think Blackrock and Blackstone.
The only daggers of such content are in a museum. It was Egyptian. Not Abraham. Look it up. There is a few supposedly in existence made out of a meteorite presumably. But the craft is remarkable for it. It contains non earthly metal, because they are supposedly bronze not iron. To gain the content could've only been a meteorite. Or so it's assumed and suggested

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-36432635
There is another from the Incans, as well. A sword or such. Again the same fucking problem, the bronze age.
Here are few others with glorious scripts.
https://www.ripleys.com/weird-news/meteorite-swords/
Abraham is largely a metaphor. Did he even exist. That context is mythology. Can anybody trace him historically? Factually a narrative like any other Hurculean, Egyptian, Assyrian or etc. To the believer it means they were historic like Moses. But in fact what we have is a narrative.
yeah in the TV show here.. it looks like that Tut one, where it's sharp on the 2 sides.
Awesome there are quite a few more globally. The time period it is supposedly the oldest. Apart from perhaps a MesoAmerican legend? Japan and Indonesia on the links are more recent.
Perspective there are between a hundred to three hundred or such meteorite iron weapons. Most aren't known about, prized collectors items, not displayed. More are recent. All it takes is a crumb of meteor providing a rune, or content.
Apart from famous displays, like Tut's and a few others.
Most have bold and glorious claims, and are mythology like Alexander the Great's weapon. Of course his tomb hasn't been found because it was either mythology, or fully desecrated by the Romans when they sacked Alexandria multiple times, and then Islam and etc.
In answer no. Not Abraham. Another legend. Mythical. But the Ka'aba is a meteor. If he had such a weapon, it would be there, now, somewhere. It would prove him. It wouldn't be lost over time.
