So if you're examining the facts and circumstances of the plane crash, it looks like Intel just added him to the list of the dead and pumped it out through their Mockingbird channels. Now it's as "true" as any other "fact" in everyone's worldview.
"Utkin" was only of value as a Nazi boogeyman lurking in the darkness, blackwashing Wagner, Putin, and all of Mother Russia. I suspect they feared that with the death of Prigozhin, people might expect Utkin would rise to the fore, or at least tweet something on the incident.
