Not sure why you got downvoted, but your comment piqued my curiosity and I listened to it. He strikes me as quite the philosopher. Also, doing a quick search prior to listening to the lecture I learned that he was a freemason, so maybe he knew something that others don't. It was a very interesting lecture. Thanks for sharing.
some people disregard Hall because of his affiliations with freemasonry. He him self was never invited or participate in masonry but because of his work he was giving a honorary membership (33rd degree). When he was young he was essentially paid to travel Europe and Asia to compile a esoteric encyclopedia. Secret teachings for all ages.
