They make SUBJECTIVE choices whether or not to file charges, what kind of charges, how strictly and with how many resources to operate the prosecution, how their public relations department portrays it to media, etc.
The FBI should only have so much power that it SERVES YOUR INTERESTS. If you believe the FBI does not serve you, but serves other shadow powers behind the curtain, then the easy solution is to abolish it.
Does the FBI enforce laws that keep you safe? Does the FBI make arrests and prosecute cases that makes you think "job well done" ? Such arguments could be made.
