It just came to my mind while answering a post this morning and since i had the link i figured i'd post it here, too.
It is frankly one of the best articles on the burned bridge between old lore and new 'science'.
While i'm not very 'theosophic' at large some parts of it are good, and while blavatsky looks and feels like a stereotypical witch, she did have a wonderful mind and this article is extremely well thought and i think, in some ways, needed in our times.
p.s. does someone know that website which has all theosophy archives in a very easy to search and read way? it doesn't pop up on google anymore. Regret not bookmarking it, meh.
I'll check it out, don't think i have heard it before.
But there is a website somewhere that basically archived all the articles that came out about theosophy since inception, be it books, journal pieces, etc... It was extremely interesting because you could see it's progression and all its branches. It was also very elegant and pleasant to read. I'll post it if i find it

Google is shit, try different browsers like Gigablast, Mojeek or Yandex.
Biomagnetism and curing ailments via electro-magnetic frequency manipulation is actually a science. Granted, in it's infancy and suppressed for over a 100 years now, but it does exist.
And you can trial some of the basic things, like bio magnetism treatments yourself, with simple permanent magnets and a bit of trial and error:

Yeah, it's close but it isn't that one.

For further studies, electro-acupuncture would be the next step:

Then it gets more challenging after that. Finding good mesmerism practitioners can be hard. Am willing to hear if you know of a good one.
Mesmerism is extremely interesting, thanks for the link, i'll check them out.
The way it got killed is the most obvious and glaring case of 'soyence' still to date imo.
