The question isn't really is it going to happen.

Technological advancement will lead to a global a satellite network.

Inevitable.

The question is who will control it?

I believe Elon owns the material asset, but I believe the deep state will always own your shit in practice ...if you want to stay alive.

basically.

so yes, elon is pressured - obviously - by the ever-death-threat of the CIA.

i.e., the CIA controls it - otherwise it would have never allowed elon to launch them in the first-place. in return, the US/CIA gains control of the first global satellite network. that's kind of a big deal, from a national security perspective - i.e., you want to be the nation that has that asset vs. the nations that do not. safe to say.

satellites don't kill people. people kill people.

I agree with elon:

  • we need to become an inter planetary species;

  • end the war in ukraine to save lives today.

  • starlink is here to stay. if you don't use it, they will.

This network is leaking radiation. There were pics a few days ago. This product wasn't made well, and gatekeeps the sky.

The study team has already begun speaking to SpaceX about how the company can help mitigate the problem in the future, and so far, talks have progressed positively, researchers wrote in the statement. However, many other private companies also will need to consider the issue, they added. The teams are calling for new regulations that will bring space-based radio emissions in line with terrestrial ones.

OK so something is being done about it. Good.

ps. that image used in the article was not an actual photo - just an artist's illustration
