The one assumption I can positively conclude no matter what is that we (the general populace) will not be included in any developments openly. It will always be secret, suppressed and occluded. Now, shut up and get back to work goy.
Europe surprisingly has a very heavy military and police presence as a default, much more so then North America. Even before the Ukraine situation. I think they are there to guard artwork and old buildings. I'm not sure how competent they are.
Canada during covid has massive police presence everywhere. You wouldn't have thought they even had that many military/cops. For no reason, on random days, no special events or gatherings. Never seen anything like it before in North America.
... Actually, I was just watching a bunch of aircraft today and had wondered at the unusual activity of non-commercial airplanes. Maybe they are getting ready for July 4th?

No secret that the military lets hollywood use equipment/troops for movies/shows that are given the stamp of approval.
