This "awakening" and calling things out phase is part of the script. You're supposed to feel content that others are asking the hard questions, and the comedians are making fun of the vaxxies.
He is a leftist, so it doesn't surprise me he took the vax. Almost every single anti corporate left winger did. Look at Glenn Greenwald and his now dead sodomite partner. Look at Gnome Chomsky (yes I called him a gnome). Same deal there.
