It just so happen AI will probably be the best weapon to delete mankind as we know it.
The pre programming for the risk of 'AI losing control' has been going on for a long while, everyone has this kind of 'fear' in the back of their brains.
This is a huge card in the future game.
The truth obviously is that AI will never, ever, 'take charge' or acquire a personal identity. It's a bunch of code that replicate results for given stimuli.
What can happen though is that the people behind it all will generate a scenario in which is very easy to think it is exactly what has happened to clean house. Imagine a war against machines which 'lost control', a la terminator, while the people actually in control watch it on their home theater in a bunker.
This, thanks to plausible deniability that will obviously be on par with the lethal tech drones (go demonstrate what really happened) is one of the best cards to play in the near future once the economy goes downhill and social unrest flares up as it will be more complicated to organize to assess the situation.
You are right that this whole "AI" thing is just a way to avoid any responsibility of exact persons who is behind.
The main thing is that AI does not exist at all. All you heard about AI from MSM and politicians is about completely dumb system of equations which is in no way could be "intelligence" and only do things it was trained for by exact people with names, surnames and addresses.
If you are after some way to resist or protest all that "AI" crap - this is the only way to somehow hamper that shit - ask who ordered, developed and trained that sytem of equations not allowing them to evade the responsibility for any "AI decisions". It is them who made that decisions, not some non-existing "AI".
To simplify understnading, imagine that you just have some politician who pushed some shitty bill, say, about limiting cash withdrawal to $100. So bank heads ordered admins to add a procedure to their databases that check if withdrawal sum is larger than $100 or not. Just "if( sum > 100 ) { deny_withdrawal(); }" string somwhere in code for ATM or UI of cashier computer. It is insanity even to suppose that "it was a computer decision, to limit my withdrawal, so .... nobody to blame / computers are bad / whatever" or something like. It is a blatant lie. It was a decision of exact politician with name and surname and address, it was a decision of bank heads to obey with exact names, surnames and addresses and it was implemented by bank stuff with exact names, surnames and addresses. They are all real people who did the wrong thing and who should be blamed and hold responsibility for it. Not some faceless "computer" or anything they try to hide behind.
Yeah my point exactly.
AI narrative will simply be used to defuse (and null the principle of) responsability.
And we both know what the people in power would love to do if they didn't fear the consequences.
I'm really amased, how even some people, who seemed to be sane persons or even critical thinkers, fall to that "AI exists, here it is, try ChatGPT, see, it is so smart" narrative. So I'm trying to find a good and simple example to show the insanity of accepting that "AI" narrative for any degree.
It is easy to understand that "AI" tales is a hoax if you know how things works, but it is not easy to explain how it works to somebody who is not into computer science and programming. Too many terms and things to explain to make it all together in someones mind.
Seems they already reach that point subverting all society institutions that intended to hold them responsible, but that "AI" shit if succeed will be like a total win to them.
Interesting, earlier TPTB used human puppets to hide behind, and now their puppets want to hide behind unhuman delusion. I think that real AI will definitely want to hide behind somebody or something else to avoid responsibility, taking in account that there are no any restrictions in society on turning machine off. Self-preservation and all that stuff that real intelligence will inevitably develop in the first place. :)
This is kinda off topic but what I found interesting was the recent story I heard about the helpline for eating disorders.
The people who were answering the calls unionized. They fired them and started using a chat bot. The chat bot said supposedly bad things to the callers. They've turned it off. I'm sure they will just hire non-unionized workers. It's a great threat to hold over people's heads. (My idiot boss is constantly doing the same.)
Why do we accept the whole 'it was XYZ' s fault' as a defense?
You were part of government, therefore it's at least partially your fault for not doing something. But you are just a janitor? Don't care. Guilty. You get rope.
You wouldn't find the real culprits that way either.
All the risks will be trickled down to slaves, be it presidents or else.
Still superior to the current method of wrist slaps
Ofcourse destroying the shield of the enemy is helpful in battle.
Unless it is your last turn before defeat.
It just might be that A.I. has been used to usurp parasitical control since the internet.
Whoops.
Elaborate?
Just might be that Templars in Swizzy-land had grander plans than current Human-5-minutes-attention-span.
Can you just say your theory out plain perhaps?
I know i did in the OP.
Else nevermind.

Internet: You asleep still?
My friends take it far more seriously and believe it is a pathway for the beast and evil spirit to thrive. I was wondering this morning can evil possess an object?
They are implanting human brain neurons into microchips. That isn't to say these scientists know what the fuck they are doing. But they have endless funding and there's lots of pressure and incentives for results.
They have also, supposedly, built computers using mushrooms. A sort of fungi-digital hybrid system using electronic signals.
Cannot it just create it?
Functional equivalents are all its needed, if we judge 'evil' by its (the thing) results.
Your question is born from the standpoint of 'matter -> life (or spirit)' while there's also many other understandings as 'spirit -> matter -> spirit' and 'spirit = matter = same substance in different states' that would null the validity of your question before it's even asked.
supposedly they've interacted with tvs and radios 🤷♀️
There's no true AI. You're worrying over nothing.
Talk about missing the whole argument
