(video) Woke Disney in real trouble? Public filings show as little as 3 weeks cash on hand and Disney is being forced by Comcast to buy out their share of Hulu for a min of $9-10 billion and is facing likely $100-$200 million in losses each for Little Mermaid and Indy 5. (www.youtube.com)

If anyone deserves the BudLight treatment, it's Disney.

The most ironic thing about this particular drama to me is that of the black people who are into animated entertainment, the significant majority of them prefer anime, so cartoon people who look white and/or asian. Like they didn't need to make the little mermaid black to cater to black people, they needed to turn her into a waifu.

The little woke mermaid and Indiana Jones in the Search for the Adult Diaper losing money? Gosh, how terrible, Kathleen Kennedy, text me and I'll hold your hand while you cry.

"They will be forced to give Comcast a bunch of Disney stock and borrow the rest. Why so little cash on hand? Were the rumors of them losing a ton on FTX true? The guy talking in the video is the head of an accounting firm that deals mainly with Hollywood companies and Silicon Valley companies, the guy in the Sig hat is a Investment Advisor specializing in entertainment stocks."

Um the mcu literally made them billions over the course of a decade. Their beef with desantis is the only true threat to Disney and even that can be argued when you dive deep enough.

The MCU made billions, but they lost billions on Star Wars after you add in the cost. Plus the MCU has had lots of stinkers after End Game, and as I understand it they lost a ton with FTX. Anyway, it's from their public filings.

Zombie companies can lurch onwards, selling off this and that, and stay open for a long time, like Kodak and Sears. Plenty of time to turn this around for them, but yea, Disney having 3-6 weeks cash on hand is not good, and shows the wages of woke is broke.

Not quite accurate. Disney sold corporate bonds listing their special tax district as an asset, and committed a crime doing so. They will get off of course, but that doesn't help their situation.

Anyway, it has been mostly words, I admit.

Meh, maybe, maybe not. Acorn never got it's funding back, for example. I'll wait and see.

Only in the sense that sometimes the stars align and things do happen as a result of political scandals. Disney, though, is in trouble more because voting with your wallet is more effective than your ballot, in there are no 3am dumps of money except for stimulus plans.
