This is new Cold War 2, like I've explained many times:
It's G7+++ vs BRICS +++
aka The failing West (25 of World GDP and ageing population )vs The rest of the world (75% of the world GDP soon and young/innovating/upcoming population)
Everybody is forced to choose a side.
No neutral parties will be allowed (sans some non-relevan micronations).
This is the destruction and slow obsolescence of the so called "Industrialized North/West".
And yeah, good riddance, even though I live there.
We screwed everything up, time to pass on the torch, even if we don't do it, they are going to take it.
And no, our leaders are not going to "Fix things" or "make X great again".
Makes sense why they killed the other guy
Abe-San spinnig in his grave
It's looking more like World War 3 but without most belligerents officially declaring war.
Pretty clever way to be in a ground war without all the flak that comes from saying you have boots on the ground.
"Accelerated globalization"?

100 Toyota trucks? Japan been making weapons forever.
Japan aren't so neutral either. Have they gone nuclear. They're certainly quite far ahead in the race to 6Gen fighters.
To be fair the thumbnail looks like uncannyCGI
