can't put my finger on it, but those "survivor" accounts seem to be missing something...

I wonder why you never hear about carbon monoxide poisoning victims being red, you would think that according to op that would be the most lasting image on your mind.
I wonder why it took so long to diagnose the people who were accidentally gassed in poorly made mexican hotels.

But yes, if I came across a pit full of human corpses, especially if it had been more than a day or two at a warm time of the year. :| the last thing your gonna pay attention to is the color of the skin.
Then if they were really as starved as they prolly were, thats where they first started studying refeeding syndrome, which funny enough has to do with your levels of phosphorous.
Id proably be more inclined to remember the bones and stretched skin and oh yeah, the giant fucking pile of bodies, more than the color of their skin.
I didn't see any account of body skin color being anything different than red, either. No reports of blue or tan or white or yellow...
Failing to report on a detail doesn't make the detail cease to exist. OP would be infinitely more persuasive by showing us some historical accounts that specifically mention non-red/pink skin.
Maybe one day OP will get his house burned down, but the criminal will get away because no one mentioned the color of the ash.
Edit: the Naziroos hate me but can't refute what I say. Downvotes without rational argument.
We can refute you...
Here, Survivor Testimony. Go to 1:57 and he mentions the victims being 'black and blue from the gas'. This particular 'survivor' even shows up in the holocaust hall of fame, so to speak (on the USC website), so I suppose he's 'trusted'.
So: an explicit 'eyewitness testimony' from someone who is lauded as a 'survivor' that mentions black/blue-ish bodies, but not bright pink/red.
Remember -- this isn't 'nazi' revisionism -- this is the USC shoah foundation promoted by Spielberg etc.
Still think we're 'irrational'?
Not nearly as much. Thanks for the link and context.
