IIRC, type 2 diabetes comes from immense sugar imbalance that eventually overwhelms your pancreas. this can come from the obvious things like overindulgence in sugary sodas, candies, pastries, or anything that is loaded with sugar, especially in today's industry. It could also come from too many grains in the diet period, whole or otherwise.
I have no idea how red meat would be causing diabetes. The growth hormones in red meat can cause tons of other issues, like cancer for instance, but I just don't see how it would contribute to diabetes.
I had a cat who developed diabetes... I followed what the vet said for a while, expensive food (only available from the vet), and insulin shots... It was not a good time.
Then I discovered the work of Elizabeth Hodgkins (https://www.amazon.ca/Your-Cat-Simple-Secrets-Stronger/dp/0312358024), and followed her protocols for diabetic cats... It involved transitioning the cats diet too high quality fats and proteins, no kibble (which is garbage), and testing his blood sugars regularly, and weening him off the insulin. Within a few months my cat was testing normal, and off the insulin... He was acting like a kitten again... It was wonderful.
High quality meats, including fats, is exactly what is needed to prevent and cure diabetes... whatever is behind less than that, like this article, has had pharma profits behind their motivations.
You’re paying attention to the plot in a storyline only meant to sow confusion. You are to be confused. That way you will accept the answer man that is chosen to save you from your cognitive dissonance. Then you will beg to eat the bugs, and condemn the “others” that avoided the humiliation of your fate.
CNN has been responsible for the rise in diabetes.
There was a huge meat diet prior to CNN, it was widespread across America for over a century. Then CNN came along. What honestly went wrong? It makes you wonder.
A LIE???

Always attacking cows...it's ridiculous.

Typical CNN fake news; there isn't even any red meat in the photo, and the bacon isn't processed. Anyway, let's all switch to soy and roaches.

Sugary cereals are quite responsible.
