Basically as the title states. It would appear that collapse is imminent at this point, particularly when researching in to the rise and fall of nations and the late stage we are currently in. I am curious in hearing how you people believe it will happen and how we can brace for it?

It literally collapsed decades ago.
Being an empire in decline and total collapse is two different things. Yes, we are an empire in decline, but our currency is still the cleanest dirty shirt in the world. My personal opinion is that India will be the dominant economy within 20 years.
No. Look what happened to Adani. Until it is faster trading in rupees?
Who cares today. It's gonna get uglier sooner.
No argument against it getting uglier.
It is hard to model this very well because it is so complex. But our local rulers - Congress and the Fed - have been terribly irresponsible and negligent. Also the dual citizens have steered us to damage because their masters want it to happen.
A collapse will involve cascading failures in banking, real estate, and industry. Since those will tie up courts for decades, the prognosis doesn't look good. Cities will certainly go under and become Detroits. I guess we will devolve to smaller communities but the powers that be have been trying hard to damage rural living. Nonetheless, farmers will become important because food is crucial. -- ahhh - that's why Gates has been buying up farmland!! He is positioning himself for the fall.
It will not be swift, it will be a slow grind until its to late to take a final blow.
They will give us the feeling that they may/will work it out it in the end, but we will be grinded down to dust until there are to few left to actually take a stand.
I personally think 2030 will be around the year they truly have the upperhand and it will be to late to counter this decline.
These guys dont think in days, months or years. But rather in decades and millenia.
But i agree with TallestSkil that the collapse happend/started decades ago, just after the two World Wars.
Also, for a while now i think the story we were told about the downfall of Atlantis was actually a really clever way to put in our minds that we are better and more civalized now and we absolutely know how to not let that happen againnow, but in the same time they are actually make it happen that way.
Arent we getting more and more dependent on technology and all those things, just like Atlantis? Are people not losing their mind like they did? Either history really repeats itself or it was just a story to let us know where we are heading, like they do with everything in movies and other media.
It should be pretty obvious by now.
